TAKE THE FAMOUS PALM TREE ROAD IN SIARGAO
When visiting Siargao, many visitors rent motorcycles so they may ride across this tropical paradise. However, we must emphasize that this is the main road. Every day, many vehicles and motorcycles pass through here, so if you want to take photos, please use caution and keep an eye out for approaching traffic. Because the route might get busy, we recommend arriving early in the morning while traffic is light. Not only will you be considerably safer, but it will also be much simpler to get those incredible images.
VISIT THE BANAUE RICE TERRACES
Ifugao, Luzon is home to the Banaue rice terraces. They were carved into the mountains by the Ifugao people over 2,000 years ago and are today a renowned tourist destination. Because of their remarkable beauty, these rice terraces (also known as Hagdan-Hagdang Palayan) were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995. These rice terraces reportedly stretch 4,000 square miles and have a total length of nearly 12,500 miles, which is rather astounding! The terraces began to degrade as a big number of Ifugao people moved to more metropolitan locations. Banaue Rice Terraces were added to the UNESCO list of "world heritage in danger" in the 2000s, prompting massive repair efforts.
THE UNIQUE CHOCOLATE HILLS IN BOHOL
The grass on these remarkable hills is named 'the chocolate hills' because it dries up during the dry season and turns a chocolate brown color; pretty fascinating, right? It's easy to understand why they're one of the most popular tourist sites in the Philippines. The Chocolate Hills are located in Bohol and are quite spectacular. There are at least 1,268 hills in this area, and there are some interesting anecdotes concerning their origins. Two of the most well-known legends revolve around giants. According to the original mythology, the hills were formed by two battling giants who threw rocks and stones at each other.
THE WONDERFUL KAWASAN FALLS
If you've seen images of the Philippines, we're fairly certain you've seen Kawasan Falls. These falls are located on Cebu Island and are renowned tourist destinations. There are three waterfalls to witness in all, and we promise you won't be disappointed. Kawasan Falls is very breathtaking, with gorgeous blue waters and surrounding jungle to explore.
